Immigrant Visa Interview Guide

Bring the following documents:

1. Valid passport

2. Three (3) identical 2"x2" photos with white background

3. Printed confirmation page of Form DS-260, Immigrant Visa Electronic Application

4. Original birth certificate

5. Original marriage certificate (if married)

6. Original Advisory on Marriage. This is like CENOMAR but with the marriage listed (Philippines)

7. Original Police Clearance (NBI Clearance - Philippines)

8. Original Police Clearance from other countries for those who worked or lived in other countries for more than six (6) months

9. Evidences of genuine marriage/relationship - pictures together, chat/call/e-mail logs, plane tickets, boarding passes, hotel reservations of visits or vacations

10. Proof of termination of prior marriage (if any) - divorce decree, annulment document, death certificate

11. Register for your preferred document delivery either pick up or home delivery HERE

12. Completed medical exam results

Tips on Interview:

1. Dress appropriately. You can wear business casual attire or even a nice pair of jeans with a collared shirt. Dress comfortably because you will wait for hours at the US Embassy. Also bring a light jacket or sweater because it is cold inside the embassy.

2. Arrive on time.

3. Be yourself. The interview will be mostly about you and your petitioner.

4. Do not bring any type of electronics in the US Embassy. Leave phones in your car or at home. Even flash drives are being confiscated inside when you go through the metal detector.
